Introducing FRED JOHN BOLD: The 420 GSM Oversized Cotton Hoodie

FRED JOHN BOLD — a stronger statement in heavyweight cotton.

The latest FRED JOHN design takes a direct approach: a bold ivory wordmark across the chest, London and Collection 01 detailing beneath, and a large original FJ monogram at the back. Set against vintage-washed cotton and raw-edge detailing, the clean typography gives the hoodie a confident, contemporary identity.

The front print is deliberately simple. Heavy uppercase lettering creates a clear focal point, while the smaller London signature adds space and balance. There are no extra illustrations competing for attention. The back takes the same approach at a different scale, using an oversized FJ monogram above the FRED JOHN London wordmark.

FRED JOHN BOLD is built on a heavyweight 420 GSM cotton hoodie. The fabric is 100% cotton, with an oversized fit and dropped shoulders. A vintage-wash finish gives the surface depth, while distressed details and a raw hem introduce a rougher edge beneath the clean wordmark.

The construction includes a hood, kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs. The hem is intentionally raw rather than ribbed. A SHOPHOODIE® clothing label and branded hangtag complete the garment’s presentation.
