What Size Oversized Hoodie or Boxy T-Shirt Should You Buy?
Start with a hoodie or T-shirt you already like and lay it flat. The SHOPHOODIE® Black Friday cuts are both oversized, so the label in your usual top is only a starting point. Chest width and body length tell you more about how the new piece will sit.
Take two measurements
- Measure straight across the chest from underarm to underarm. Keep the tape flat and avoid stretching the fabric.
- Measure from the high point of the shoulder down to the hem. Compare that length with the product’s size chart and consider where you want it to fall against your trousers.
What a medium looks like in the charts
The medium mineral-wash tee lists a 63 cm chest width and 64 cm length. The medium vintage-wash hoodie lists a 65 cm chest width and 68 cm length. These are listed garment dimensions. Compare flat measurements with flat measurements, and refer to each product page for the full size chart.
Check the layer underneath
For the hoodie, try your usual base layer under a pullover you own, then put on the coat you plan to wear over it. Reach forward and check the space at the shoulder and collar. For the tee, prioritise the hem position if you like a shorter, wider shape. If your measurements fall between sizes, compare both rows and decide whether chest room or body length matters more to you.
